This Waquoit home was purchased by our clients in late 2012 and we were asked to correct many of the problems that were prevalent throughout. We replaced shag carpeting in many rooms with wide pine flooring. All of the uninspired interior doors were replaced with Shaker style wood doors that have oil rubbed bronze hardware. We replaced much of the mismatched interior trim. All of the electrical fixtures were updated including plugs and switches. Custom bookshelves were built and the unsafe and poorly designed railing was replaced. In the Master bath we installed a new tile surround at the tub and installed a new vanity, top and fixtures. All of the floors on 3 levels were refinished and the entire house repainted. The garage loft received a complete make over. Next up after the summer of 2013, is to remodel the kitchen and create a new lower level bathroom and laundry space. This project was finished on time and within budget!

Complete transformation of this cramped and outdated bath resulted in a delightfully cool, classic bathroom that fit perfectly within the original home built in 1935. We took this tight bathroom and shifted one wall 8" into the adjacent bedroom which allowed for a roomy 48x36 shower with a heavy duty rolling door. This allowed more room for the toilet which previously had barely any elbow room. The Nantucket Beadboard gave the overall bathroom a elegant look and was capped by 3 piece custom molding. The floor tile is a thick white marble hexagon tile with black accents. My favorite feature of this bathroom was the shower alcove that was quite labor intensive to build and yet resulted in a stunning look! To complete this makeover, we also fully painted out the master bedroom (which had multiple windows and doors) and refinished the oak flooring creating a lovely master suite.

A client purchased this condo in Maushop Village which is part of New Seabury a seaside resort located on Cape Cod! They asked @designREMODEL to design and complete a full makeover of the original condo that was in dire need of updating. We installed an all new kitchen, added more cabinet space and installed granite countertops. The wide pine floors were refinished, outdated wallpaper was removed and all of the walls, ceilings and trim received a fresh coat of paint. In the second floor bath,we removed the bubble tub/shower surround and corrected numerous issues with the plumbing and wall framing. We installed a new cast iron shower base topped by a full tile surround and a rolling shower door. We upgraded all of the electrical devices and installed new lighting fixtures from Restoration Hardware.
