"Finding good contractors on Cape Cod has proven to be quite difficult... Until we hired John from @design Remodel... John's attention to detail, professionalism, and down to earth personality are some of the things that make him stand out from other people in his industry."
Tim & Alicia Miller, Falmouth

"We were especially impressed with how well the work went. Your attention to detail and the extra time you took to make everything right was well appreciated... Bob has admitted he wasn't sure how the project would turn out, but since then has told me he is very happy with the results!"
Jeanne & Bob Nichols, Sandwich

"From the design and actual building stage I never had to worry about a thing when you started the work on our home, I could continue with my own responsibilities knowing that you would take care of everything. As always you handled everything with true professionalism."
Eric & Charlene Shea, Mashpee

More Details On Our Doing Remodeling Right Guarantee

How Our Process Works:

1. INITIAL IN-HOME CONSULTATION:  We will meet and review your bathroom and discuss how you use it and what changes you hope to make.  We’ll chat about the budget and what investment goals you have in mind.  We’ll share a range of costs for similar projects that @designREMODEL has completed recently.  Once it’s agreed that we are a good fit, we will go the next step.

2. DESIGN-PROPOSAL:  We will work together with you to determine an overall scope of work that includes your wants and wishes.  We’ll talk about your likes and dislikes in finishes, fixtures and fittings.

Once we have a good sense of what you want in your project, we’ll roll up our sleeves and go to work creating and refining a design for your new bathroom.  We’ll do extensive research to find just the right fixtures, fittings, tile work and other related components. We’ll consult with our trade partners about your project and obtain quotes for their portion of your project.  A time line for the project is determined.  Our proposal will include all the components and subcontractors required to complete your project.  In some cases, we will provide two options for your project so that you may choose one that best fits you. The proposal we present to you will be turn-key and once approved, will only require a signature and a deposit to be put on our schedule.

*Note: In certain instances, we may request a design retainer.  This fee covers the time and effort expended on your behalf coming up with the best design solution for you.

3. PROJECT AGREEMENT:  Once you have a clear understanding what your project involves and what your investment will be, we move to signing an agreement and placing your project onto our schedule.  We’ll provide an approximate start date and a fixed completion date.  We then start all of the “back stage” work such as placing orders for products, creating materials and task lists.  We’ll loop in our trade partners and let them know (and continuously remind) them that your project is coming up.

4. THE FUN BEGINS!: Prior to starting your project, we will review the project details one more time and address any concerns you might have. We discuss what to expect while the remodeling is taking place and how to keep your sanity.  Once your project is underway, we will remain committed to it until it is done.  We will treat your home as if it were our own, keeping it clean and safe and leaving you delighted once we have performed our magic of transforming your bathroom!

Your Bathroom Renovation Choices

Standard Flooring Choice: Resilient vinyl flooring that looks great and is low maintenance.
Luxury Flooring Choice: Real tile can add depth to your bathroom, while in-floor heat keeps you cozy and gets rid of unsightly baseboard heat.

Standard Bath Choice: The widest acrylic tub/surround you can fit into your space will modernize your look.
Luxury Bath Choice: This can include a whirlpool or bubbler, inline water heater, small shelves and a deck mounted faucet with a hand-held showering wand. The mood in your bathroom will be relaxing for a nice soak.

Standard Shower Choice: A new acrylic shower base and surround in place of a tub and the thickest frame-less clear glass doors that fit in your budget can be a popular choice.

Luxury Choice: A custom shower base with river rock overlay, floor-to-ceiling wall tile and a mounted seat. To make your shower even more luxurious install a personal shower system, a remote exhaust fan with a dimmable light and a heavy duty frame-less shower door.

Vanities and Sinks
You have many vanity choices and we can help you choose the right one for you. They come in a wide variety of colors or stained wood and taller vanities are popular now. For a lighter, elegant look, you can opt for a pedestal sink, while wall mounted sinks open up the floor area and free standing sinks are one of our favorites.

Vanity Tops
Choose from quartz, elegant marble, or luxurious granite. We like Swanstone for its ease of cleaning.

Today’s modern toilets work well and use less water and you can also opt for a duel flush option to reduce water use even more. Tall? Choose a chair height toilet.

You have many faucet choices including single handle, wall mounted and even automated. Your choices for the shower include a rain shower or a personal hand shower/wand with a standard shower head combination.

Lighting is key in your bathroom remodeling project. It should be well lit for safety, while sconces on either side of the vanity can fully light your face without casting shadows. To set a relaxing, spa-like mood, add a dimmer-controlled wall sconce near your tub so you can tone down the lighting as you unwind in the bath.
