Working with his hands, has always come naturally to John Clark, the founder of @designREMODEL, even after he has traded his toolbelt for the computer keyboard. He has worked in the remodeling business since he was 12 years old, when he started out sweeping the shop floor for a local builder.

Over the years, he has spent countless hours learning the trades and developing a broad knowledge, of the skills required, to craft a better home for his clients. He is often the first user of new products such as plastic trim, composite decking, and fiber-cement siding. He is always on the lookout for new tools, that will help his team create better, more beautiful projects.

John, enjoys sharing with his clients, design ideas, and new products that help them improve their projects.

Often times, John can be found working on projects helping to move them along, and trouble shooting the challenges of remodeling, that are ever-present. Away from the project site, he is usually in front of his computer, improving the systems, required, to build a better project or writing on blogs, about the business of remodeling.

John, is one of the first remodelers on Cape Cod, to earn the national professional designation “Certified Remodeler”, his work has been featured in the magazine: Home Remodeling-Cape Cod & The Islands, as well as Primetime Cape Cod magazine.

 John and his wife Tara, along with their daughter Katiebeth, are long time residents of beautiful sunny, sandy Cape Cod. Occasionally, their flat coated retriever, named Blackie, will go along for a ride to the project site in hopes, that John will take him to the beach...

JS Clark Builders-Founded as a building company, that focused primarily on large projects such as whole house remodeling* and additions.

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen-A national franchise we purchased and operated as a division of JS Clark Builders. We have since divested away, from the franchise company. While we operated the franchise, we strengthened our talents in the design and remodeling of baths and kitchens.

@designREMODEL-Created to serve the market, as a full service remodeling company from design to completion. Combining our expertise, in large projects and baths and kitchens to bring you a unique, positive, remodeling experience.
